Julia is an experienced executive with over 20 years senior leadership practice, across a range of industries in Australia, Asia and the UK. Her roles have included training, information technology, construction, retail, research and media. As an advocate for change and improving mental health, Julia is focused on opportunities that deliver practical solutions.
Patrick Gallagher CSC was formerly an officer in the Australian Army. Over the past 20 years he has held a wide range of general management and subject matter expert roles in business, corporate strategy and risk management in the public and private sectors, both in Australia and overseas. He is an independent governance, risk and compliance consultant. In addition to the Central Coast Community College Limited he is also a non-executive director for HVTC Pty Limited and Brisbane Water (NSW) Legacy Limited.
Peter Annis-Brown has had a Corporate banking career, Non-Profit sector CEO, Sport/ Exercise Consultant and Allied Health Business owner, he possesses over 25 years direct experience across several domains. He is the founder/ Owner of ManageHealth and ManageSport. He sits on advisory grant committees for Local and Federal MP’s, is a member of the Industry council for Fitness Australia and Board member for the Central Coast Community College and HVTC. Peter has an MBA in International Sport Management and Business, qualified Health coach, qualified exercise professional, Certificate IV in training and assessing, an accredited Mental Health 1st Aid Instructor and is a Certified Project Director.
Sharon Smith has extensive experience as a dynamic and influential Senior Executive and Non Executive Director in Utilities, Regional Development, Education and Employment across the Private, Public and not for profit sectors. In 2013 Sharon was appointed Chief Executive of HVTC who provide a wide range of vocational education and employment opportunities through Apprenticeship and traineeships across NSW.
Rachel is a human services professional with extensive leadership and senior management experience, having held CEO positions in not for profit and the private sector and working at Director level within the NSW Public Service for over 25 years. Her experience in developing collaborative partnerships and designing services for vulnerable communities and people with multiple needs across their life span, has seen her work as a consultant to government and not for profit organisations on matters of governance, financial management, planning and strategy. Rachel brings to the Board her passion to support people across the lifespan to discover and re discover their love of learning, the provision of quality services that foster thriving communities, and supporting the development of the region’s future workforce pipeline.
Joanne has extensive leadership and senior management experience having worked in small business, Director roles and as a corporate executive in the finance, water and education industries, in public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She is passionate about contributing to her local community by leveraging her considerable business, people and technology qualifications, skills and expertise.
