Community Connections

Part of our culture here at Central Coast Community College is immersing ourselves into various projects and being active members of the community, supporting initiatives and promoting education and training opportunities for those who are disadvantaged or required additional support. Our goal is to create a space where people can share their truths and stories, with raised aspirations - a place where people are empowered to achieve their potential and enjoy success.

COAST Hands Partnership

In October 2021, the College engaged in an official partnership with Coast Hands, who provide a range of free services to vulnerable members of the Central Coast community, including fresh meals, clothes and shelter, laundry services, haircuts, and more. A number of staff and trainers at the College have gotten involved with Coast Hands, including our hospitality training team, who cook up to 100 meals each week that are then delivered and served by a team of volunteers. We look forward to continuing our sponsorship of Coast Hands into the future and support them in giving back to the community.

You can learn more about Coast Hands on their Facebook page.

ACE Open Day - May 2022

In May 2022, the Central Coast Community College hosted an open day at the Ourimbah Campus to showcase our facilities and highlight the funded training opportunities available through the NSW Government Adult & Community Education (ACE) program. As part of the ACE Open Day, trainers and staff hosted information sessions and creative workshops that allowed potential students, industry partners, and employment service providers to see what training delivery is like at the College.
