
Provide First Aid & CPR
Knowing how to provide first aid and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can be life-saving. This accredited workshop is designed to provide students with an up-to-date knowledge of correct procedures for applying first aid and providing CPR. Upon completion of this course, students will receive accredited tickets to recognise their competency.
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. Eligibility criteria applies.

This course is suitable for students looking to gain accredited tickets to apply first aid and perform CPR when needed.
As part of this course, students will complete the following accredited units of competency:
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Students will also complete the following non-accredited units of competency:
- CSO112023 - First Aid in the Home
Students must have basic reading and writing skills in order to complete this course. Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.
Those who meet one of the following categories are NOT eligible to undertake this course:
- Currently enrolled in high school
- Currently undertaking higher education including Certificate II, III, IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelors Degree, or higher.
This training is fully subsidised for eligible students by the NSW Government under the ACE program.

Students who meet the eligibility criteria for ACE funded training will not be required to pay any course fees. Please see above funding eligibility for more information.
For students who are not eligible for funded training per the eligibility criteria, the cost to undertake this course is $120.

Location:
- Training for this course will be delivered face to face at our Ourimbah campus.
Students are required to bring a pen, paper, and folder to the course. All other course resources will be provided.
Further study options:
Students who complete this course may continue their studies by enrolling in further Workplace Health and Safety short courses, or training in an industry area of interest.
