Provide First Aid

The Provide First Aid accredited tr course is aimed at providing all students with the knowledge and skills required to apply first aid. This workshop will outline the correct procedures in applying first aid and how first aid can save lives in the critical time before emergency services arrive, as well as prevent injury or illness from becoming worse.

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. Eligibility criteria applies.

This course is suitable for students looking to gain an accredited ticket to apply first aid when needed.

As part of this course, students will complete the following accredited unit of competency:

  • HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

Central Coast Community College

Students must have basic reading and writing skills in order to complete this course. Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.

Those who meet one of the following categories are NOT eligible to undertake this course:

  • Currently enrolled in high school
  • Currently undertaking higher education including Certificate II, III, IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelors Degree, or higher.

For students who are not eligible for NSW Government funding under the ACE program, the fee-for-service cost to undertake this accredited training course is $120.

Payment can be made over the phone or via invoice at the time of enrolment.

Training for this course will be delivered face to face at our Ourimbah campus.

Students are required to bring a pen, paper, and folder to the course. All other course resources will be provided.

Students who complete this course may continue their studies by enrolling in further Workplace Health and Safety short courses, or training in an industry area of interest.
