Are you 50+ and would love some help with using digital technology?

Central Coast Digital Connect now meets online each week via Zoom video conferencing.

The digital connect program provides free workshops and a chance to learn and ask questions about using smart phones, tablets and computers in your daily life. Learn how to securely access and use the internet, use and make the most of your device and keep in touch with others online. These classes will help you make the most of your devices and keep up to date with all the latest improvements and services

Digital Connect Online runs every Monday from 10:30am to 12 noon.  Each Digital Connect session will start with a 1 hour update & workshop, with a new topic each week.

A short question and answer session will run from 11:30am to 12:00 noon. We will be using the Zoom video conferencing app to run Digital Connect.

Do you need some Face to Face help? Members of our Digital Mentor team are available each Monday morning between 9:30am and 12 noon at the Community College Ourimbah Campus in Room 1. Please book ahead for this by emailing digitalconnect@cccc.nsw.edu.au or phoning 02 4348 4300.

What do I need to connect to Zoom?

You will need either a computer, a smartphone or a tablet/iPad with an internet connection. Unless you are using a desktop computer, you device will already have a camera and microphone built in. You will need to have enough data available via your internet connection. If you are connected to your home wifi this will not be an issue. If you are using mobile data you can expect to use approximately 100Mb per hour which is not much.

To join the Zoom workshop on Monday morning you should click on this link:

The Meeting ID is 438-936-147 but you will only need this if you join the meeting from inside the app.

If you have not used Zoom before you will be prompted to install the Zoom App when you click on the link. It  is a good idea to have done this before the meeting starts so that you are ready to go.

If you join the meeting before 10:30am you will need to wait for the Host (me) to start the meeting.

We have setup up a shared folder on Google Drive for any documents that are shared during the Zoom meetings. You can access these at this link:
