Are you 50+ and would love some help with using digital technology?
Central Coast Digital Connect now meets online twice each week via Zoom video conferencing.
The program provides free workshops and a chance to ask questions about everything from how to access the internet, using your device and keeping in touch with others online.

|From Wednesday, March 25, 2020, we will be running Digital Connect Online every Monday & Wednesday from the new time of 10:30am. Each Digital Connect session will start with a 1 hour update & workshop, with a new topic each week.|
After a short break at 11:30am we will then provide small group breakout sessions. This is an opportunity to get questions answered that relate to the specific technology that you are using. Each small group will be run by one of the Digital Mentors. We will be using the Zoom video conferencing app to run Digital Connect.
What do I need to connect?
You will need either a computer, a smartphone or a tablet/iPad with an internet connection. Unless you are using a desktop computer, you device will already have a camera and microphone built in. You will need to have enough data available via your internet connection. If you are connected to your home wifi this will not be an issue. If you are using mobile data you can expect to use approximately 100Mb per hour which is not much.
To join the Zoom workshop on either Monday or Wednesday morning you should click on this link:
The Meeting ID is 438-936-147 but you will only need this if you join the meeting from inside the app.
If you have not used Zoom before you will be prompted to install the Zoom App when you click on the link. It is a good idea to have done this before the meeting starts so that you are ready to go.
If you join the meeting before 10:30am you will need to wait for the Host (me) to start the meeting.
We have setup up a shared folder on Google Drive for any documents that are shared during the Zoom meetings. You can access these at this link:
If you have any questions please contact me by email: firstname.lastname@example.org and include your phone number.
