This course may be fully subsidised for eligible students under the Community Services Obligation Program (CSO).

Are you looking to gain work in the beauty industry and would like to further develop your skills? Then look no further than our Tan and Lift workshop.

Throughout this course students will gain hands on experience by completing a combination of theoretical and practical training in our on-site beauty salon at Central Coast Community College. You will gain the skills and knowledge required to provide a service to your clients through the application of spray tans, lash lifting and creating displays.

Study Pathways

Students who graduate from this course may continue their studies by enrolling in the SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services.

Funding Eligibility

This course is being offered under the Adult and Community Education Community Services Obligation (CSO) Program. This funding has been designed to support people who experience barriers to training and employment. To determine your eligibility for the CSO Program click here.

A disadvantaged student who is one of the following:

  • An aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; or
  • Disabled or have a dependent child, spouse or partner who is disabled; or
  • A Commonwealth Government Welfare Recipient or have a dependent child, spouse or partner who is a Commonwealth Government Welfare Recipient; or
  • Experiencing significant hardship as verified by a government agency, medical professional or support agency

AND

Experiencing one of the following barriers to participation in training:

  • Very low literacy, language and/or numeracy skills
  • Limited employability skills
  • Persistent and ongoing personal issues impacting on their education
  • Significant educational disadvantage, which impacts their ability to succeed in training

Entry Requirements

Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.

What to Bring To Class

Students are required to wear the appropriate attire for this course, including a black blouse, black pants and enclosed shoes. All other course resources will be provided for you.

Note: Students are required to bring along a willing model to assist in the necessary practical demonstrations.

Please Note that “CSO201719 Lash Lifiting” is a Non-Accredited Module and only a statement of attendance will be provided for this module.
