The Life Skills program offers students a unique learning opportunity where they will master a variety of skills through fun and practical experiences. The program is designed to equip students with tech skills, a sound knowledge of business and the confidence to communicate effectively in the workplace.

When you enrol in a workshop you will not only gain nationally recognised training across Information and Communication Technology, Business and Foundation Skills, but you will also get to choose from a range of electives, such as beauty, health and fitness, community services, hospitality and / or construction.

Workshop One: Digital Storytelling – We kick things off by experimenting with digital tools and rich media to present a personal narrative in a creative way.

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.


This workshop will run over two days per week for a total of ten weeks.

Funding Opportunities

The College is excited to announce that the Life Skills program is being offered under the Adult and Community Education Community Services Obligation (CSO) Program. This funding has been designed to support people who experience barriers to training and employment.

Prior to being accepted into this workshop under the CSO Program, you will need to contact the College to ask for a finalised eligibility entitlement quotation. From here you will be provided with an enrolment pack, all the forms must be filled out and brought into the College for administration review. Please note that enquiring about the CSO Program does not guarantee you a position within this course.

Learning Outcomes

  • Determine your learning goals and needs to develop a career plan
  • Create two digital stories using storyboarding and a selection of multimedia
  • Practise reading, writing, critical thinking and group / teamwork skills
  • Participate in a range of activities designed to identify strengths and interests
