Working in the beauty industry is creative, fun and rewarding, and it all starts with the SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services! This course will prepare you for entry-level work in the beauty industry, and will give you the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver a range of professional beauty services.

The SHB30115 Certificate III in Beauty Services is delivered on the Central Coast and will give you the opportunity to perform tasks such as make-up design, manicures, pedicures, waxing, cosmetic tanning, and eyelash and eyebrow treatments. Our team of specialists will be there every step of the way, and the combination of classroom and practical exercises means you can graduate with the skills needed to excel in your chosen career.

Throughout this course you will gain hands on experience by completing a combination of theoretical and practical training in our on-site beauty salon at Central Coast Community College. Delivery Mode

Face-to-face delivery with mandatory practical placement (completed on-site in our operational Student Salon) and individual work at home.

Entry Requirements

Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.

What to Bring To Class

Please bring a pen, paper and folder to class. All other course resources will be provided for you on the day, including a professional make-up kit, brush set and uniform tunic. These will be yours to keep at the conclusion of the course.

Units of competency

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate III in Beauty Services SHB30115.
