Course Duration

This course runs on campus for two days per week for the duration of 20 weeks. At home-study will also apply.

Delivery Mode

This qualification will be delivered face-to-face, through self-paced projects and simulated workplace experiences. Additional individual self-directed learning must be conducted outside of the classroom and students may also be required to complete a minimum of 30 hours work experience in a suitable hospitality operation.

Entry Requirements

Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate II in Hospitality SIT20316.
