HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid

The HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid course is delivered on the Central Coast and is aimed at providing all students with the knowledge and skills required to apply first aid.

This workshop will outline the correct procedures in applying first aid and how first aid can save lives in the critical time before emergency services arrive, as well as prevent injury or illness from becoming worse. Our team of specialists will be there every step of the way, and the combination of classroom and practical exercises means you can graduate with the skills required to apply first aid.

This class runs for one full day.

Entry Requirements

Students must have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the workshop.

Funding Opportunities

The College is excited to announce that HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid is being offered under the Adult and Community Education Community Services Obligation (CSO) Program. This funding has been designed to support people who experience barriers to training and employment.

Prior to being accepted into this workshop under the CSO Program, you will need to contact the College to ask for a finalised eligibility entitlement quotation. From here you will be provided with an enrolment pack, all the forms must be filled out and brought into the College for administration review. Please note that enquiring about the CSO Program does not guarantee you a position within this course.

Who Is This Workshop For

This class is for students who would like to be able to provide first aid.

What to Bring To Class

Please bring a pen, paper and folder to class. You will also be required to bring 100 points of identification. All other resources will be provided for you.

Assessments are made against units of competency.
