Who Is This Course For
This workshop is for people who want to use Video calling to connect with friends and family as well as participate in activities, events and appointments from a distance.
Learning Outcomes
This workshop will focus on the Zoom, Skype and Facetime apps.
You will learn how to:
- use video calling in different aspects of your life
- make video calls to one or more people
- join and leave video calls
- control audio and video during a video call
- set up a video call to look and sound good
- practice perfect video calling etiquette
- protect your privacy

What To Bring To Class
You will need to bring a mobile device such as a laptop, smartphone, tablet or iPad and its charger. We will provide wireless internet access.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Funding Eligibility
Tech Savvy Seniors is an initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and is funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra.
Classes are FREE for participants aged 60 years and over across NSW and are delivered by the Central Coast Community College.
