Who Is This Course For
This workshop is for people who want to learn the basics of how to use the internet to access services, information and entertainment while staying safe online.
This workshop will include:
- How to connect to the internet
- Understanding NBN, Wi-Fi, data and costs
- Using a browser
- Searching the web
- The basics of shopping and banking
- Staying sage online
Face to Face Delivery
What To Bring To Class
You should bring your own mobile device such as a laptop, smartphone, tablet or iPad and its charger. The college will have computers available and will provide wireless internet access.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Tech Savvy Seniors is an initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and is funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra.
Classes are FREE for participants aged 60 years and over across NSW and are delivered by the Central Coast Community College.
