Breaking Barriers
Success in Breaking Barriers is measured by completion of the program with a clear and recognised next step forward for students to reach their educational and employment goals. The course components include:

This course is suitable for disengaged learners looking at commencing their skills-based learning and educational journey.
As part of this course, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Build resilience
- Improve self-awareness
- Establish coping mechanisms
- Develop personal and social capabilities
Through a combination of theory coursework and practical training, students will complete the following units of competency:
- CSO201809 - Goal Setting and Career Planning
- CSO201817 - Developing Social Skills and Creative Arts
- CSO202051 - Financial Skills for Life
- CSO202004 - Nutrition and Healthy Eating
- CSO202206 - Participate in Team Activities

Training for this course will be delivered face to face at our Ourimbah campus.
Students will attend training 2 days per week over 8 weeks (a total of 16 sessions).
